PBO fiber can absorb a large amount of impact energy when impacted, which is an excellent impact resistant material. The maximum impact load of PBO fiber composite can reach 3.5KN and the energy absorption is 20J. The wear resistance of PBO is good, and the wear cycle is five thousand times.

PBO fiber at a high temperature of more than 300°C can reflect the better wear resistance properties, and its strength retention rate is about 45% after 100 hours of treatment in the air at 300°C.
